Asbestos gasket is a sealing material mainly made of asbestos fiber and rubber, processed through mixing and stirring, hot roller forming and vulcanization. Its core characteristics include excellent sealing performance and chemical corrosion resistance, making it suitable for sealing scenarios in medium and low-pressure pipelines and equipment.

Material Composition:
The main raw materials are asbestos fibers (with high tensile strength and heat resistance) and rubber (with elasticity and sealing properties), and additives and fillers are added to enhance performance. Some high-end products use a composite material of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and asbestos to improve corrosion resistance and the range of operating temperatures.
Classification:
By Application: It is divided into ordinary rubber gaskets and oil-resistant asbestos rubber gaskets. The ordinary type is suitable for water, steam, oil, and medium acids and alkalis; the oil-resistant type enhances oil resistance and is used in high-demand scenarios such as petrochemical pipelines.
